BUSUTTIL DOUGALL. On May 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, JULIA, of Cospicua, aged 92, widow of George, passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her beloved children Joe and Maryrose, Charles and Lilian, George and Lourdes, Anton and Mariella and Emanuel and Marthese, her precious grandchildren Carmen, Victoria, Rosanne and Kevin, Conrad and Gretel, Bernard and Rosanne, Ruth and Biagio, Melchior and Elaine, Nadine, Rudi, Felicity and Cedric, Pearl, Nigel, Nicholas and Janice, Daniela and Nigel and Lisa and Josef, her great-grandchildren, Hannah, Chaz, Jamie, Neo and Jodie, her sister-in-law Maria and brother-in-law Saviour, nephews and nieces in Malta and Australia, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 2pm for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Cospicua, where Mass presente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Eternal rest grant unto her, Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
JONES. On May 1, PETER, of Msida (born in Liverpool), aged 79, passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Jason and his partner Tatiana, Suzanna and her husband Steve, his grandchildren Cody, Jack and Ben, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.30pm for the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel, where a service praesente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. A wake will be held in his memory after the service at The Lucky Bar, Msida. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the nurses and staff at Mater Dei Hospital for their dedication.
MIZZI. On May 2, MARY, aged 86, passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Joseph and his wife Jessie, Frank and his wife Jane, Doris, widow of her brother John, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Naxxar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
VELLA. On April 30, David, aged 56 passed away peacefully at home in Attard. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Marylynn, his daughters Roxanne and her husband Kieron, Jacqueline and Kristina and his granddaughter Tiffany, his sister Josephine, his brother Roland, other relatives and friends. The funeral will take place on Monday, 4th May leaving Mater Dei Hospital at 2.00pm for Attard parish church where mass “praesente cadavere” will be celebrated at 2.30pm followed by internment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.
