I feel privileged to have known Vince. Our friendship goes way back and I have very fond memories of him. I have always considered Vince, or Ċensu, as he was known by family and friends, to be a great gentleman.

Each time we spoke, the conversation always ended with a good laugh and since we both are proud ‘nannus’, we inevitably digressed into recounting stories about our respective grandchildren.

Since it is widely known that Ċensu was a good man, I needn’t go on and on; besides he wasn’t a pompous person but rather staunchly down to earth. He will be greatly missed by his wife Sandra, children and grandchildren all of whom he loved beyond measure.

No one can replace him but I am also positive that he gave them every opportunity to enjoy him and they will only ever remember him as a great husband, father and grandfather.

My deepest condolences go to all his beloved family and I thank them for sharing him with his many friends.

Have a peaceful and serene journey my friend. You deserve it. Till we meet again.
