• Today Xagħra parish is celebrating the feast of its co-patron St Joseph.

• The annual walk in aid of Puttinu Cares Gozo will be held today at 3pm from the hospital’s front entrance.

• The feast of Our Lady of Pompeii will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Friday.

• A lecture entitled ‘The Notarial Archives – an untapped source of Gozo’s lost history’ will be held by Wirt Għawdex on Friday at 6.30pm at St Cecilia chapel, Għajnsielem.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at St George’s church, Victoria, on Saturday at 8.30pm, followed by Mass at midnight.
