For Spring/Summer ‘15 at Wallis there is a re-emergence of key trends that underpin the brand’s handwriting with Safari and Utility as well as the 1970’s being the coherent influences, reinterpreted for the new season.

The emphasis on sport and active wear is growing in momentum and can be found through block colour and simple silhouettes that create a relaxed, but sexy style for SS15. Print, as always, is key and can be seen through our signature print stories whether in chic monochrome Moroccan tile prints or vibrant Asian inspired florals.

Moroccan Modern is a confident statement of striking pieces characterised by languid, relaxed styling for a fluid and sophisticated trend. Minimal pieces are brought to life with key stripe statements, cut outs and Moroccan patchworks. The monochrome palette creates impactful dressing solutions in simple shapes such as luxe joggers, cold shoulder styles and column t-shirt dresses.

Dusted pastels with accents of citrus tones lend themselves to the 70s inspired trend Hazy Days. Crepe jumpsuits add a modern, minimal take on this trend, whilst romantic florals create a softer edge and digital print, floral maxi dresses make an ultra-feminine statement.

The safari trend features safari jackets, utility jumpsuits and maxi shirt dresses in key prints offer a dressed up take on these trends. Asian inspirations come through in halter and wrapped styles where we see bright colour blocking with deep exotic florals to give these influences a very modern and individual twist.
