UK street style is more fashion forward, highly creative and probably a little more ‘out there’ than the average Maltese likes, say hairstylists Toni & Guy.

London girls are more likely to experiment with colour and tend to have pink-dip-dyed ends and wear a vintage bob or shaved sides.

Genetically, Maltese hair is generally darker, thicker and has more curl. The Maltese woman is perhaps more traditional and sophisticated, preferring to wear their hair long and blow-dried.

Maltese men appear to be more experimental. The next men’s trend expected to filter across from the UK to Malta is the beard, worn with shaved, stylised sides.
