President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca visited St Margaret College’s school at Fortini, Vittoriosa, to see some of the outcomes of an extra-curricular project aimed at developing youths’ artistic skills and present certificates to around 40 youths who participated in it.

The young people took part in one of three artistic workshops on sequential art, 3D art installation and hip hop that were led by established artists Peter Magro, Elisa von Brockdorff and Deborah Falzon respectively.

The project, entitled WAMA 3rd Ed, was held over the past six months and benefited from funds provided by the 2014 edition of the President’s Award for Creativity.
