The National Book Council and the Għaqda tal-Malti – Università are holding the annual book festival at the University of Malta’s campus between Tuesday and Thursday between 9am and 3pm and 7 and 9.30pm.
The festival offers Maltese publishers and distributors the opportunity to promote their publications with a mature audience, including university students. Besides the selling of books, there will also be a series of events aimed towards promoting literature.
Among the activities there will be two author interviews with Walid Nabhan and Pierre J. Mejlak respectively. Both authors were the recipients of prestigious awards. Throughout the three days of the festival there will also be guided tours around the library and collaborations with other organisations.
Participating publishers include Faraxa Books, Horizons, SKS and Sierra Book Distributors, some of which are organising their own events.
