Qormi vs Pietà Hotspurs (today at 5pm, Hibs Stadium).

This is a relegation six-pointer for both strugglers who have two crucial matches to save their status.

With just two points separating Qormi and Pietà, second from bottom, neither side can afford to slip up.

The Hotspurs face a delicate situation as a defeat today may well see them relegated after just one season in the top flight.

Mark Miller, the Qormi coach, has almost a full squad available with the only absentee being Emerson Vella. He is out for the season with a knee injury.

Pietà are hopeful of having midfielder Rafael Rodrigues and forward Luke Micallef back in the squad after skipping the 3-1 win over Żebbuġ due to injury.

Previous results: Pietà Hotspurs vs Qormi 0-0, 1-0.

Naxxar Lions vs Sliema Wanderers (today at 5pm, National Stadium).

Naxxar Lions need a victory over Sliema Wanderers to allay their relegation fears.

A poor run of five matches without a win has led to a tense finale for the Lions who are desperate to put their minds at rest before the final round of matches next week.

Naxxar coach Jesmond Zerafa must make at least one change from the 4-1 defeat to Floriana as midfielder Albert Bruce has to serve a one-match ban.

Mid-table Sliema have little to play for bar ending the campaign on a positive note. Coach Stephen Azzopardi must check on the fitness of Alex Muscat and John Mintoff who are hampered by muscle injuries while Mark Scerri is doubtful with a pulled hamstring.

Luca Martinelli is suspended but striking duo Michael Mifsud and Djumo Bocar should be fit to return.

Previous results: Sliema vs Naxxar 0-1, 0-0.

Żebbuġ Rangers vs Tarxien Rainbows (today at 7pm, Hibs Stadium).

Żebbuġ head into this direct basement clash fully aware that they have little control over their fate as a win over third-bottom Tarxien may prove futile to their faltering survival bid.

A 3-1 defeat to Pietà last week left Żebbuġ on the brink as they need to beat the Rainbows and hope other results go their way to remain in contention before the final day of the season.

Alfonso Greco, the Żebbuġ coach, is without midfielder Paltemio Barbetti, suspended.

Tarxien will be keen to put the0-4 upset to Qormi behind them.

Coach Clive Mizzi faces a selection headache as Spanish duo Jorge Yepes and Carlos Hevia are out with a muscle strain.

Goalkeeper Jonathan Debono (facial), Ishmael Grech (hamstring) and Ryan Sammut (knee) are ruled out for the rest of the season while Kane Farrugia is suspended.

Previous results: Tarxien vs Żebbuġ 3-3, 1-2.

Mosta vs Floriana (tomorrow at 5pm, National Stadium).

Mosta will be eager to put an end to a disappointing run of results as they look to prolong their top-flight stay by another season.

With just one win from their last 12 matches, the Blues are still embroiled in the relegation fight as they are four points ahead of Pietà.

A win today would ease their worries and avoid a tense derby against Naxxar Lions next Friday.

Coach Peter Smith can rely on wing-back Jonas Ekani, midfielder Ryan Grech and forward Haruna Babangida. They missed the 5-1 rout to Sliema through injury but forward Michael Dawood is doubtful. Defender Tyrone Farrugia is out with a one-match ban.

After missing out on fourth spot, Floriana will be looking to end the season on a high note. The Greens, however, will have to do without suspended duo Amadou Samb and Steve Pisani while Steve Bonnici is out with a knee injury. Mano Micallef faces a late fitness test.

Previous results: Floriana vs Mosta 3-2, 3-1.

Birkirkara vs Hibernians (tomorrow at 7pm, National Stadium).

This promises to be a fascinating encounter as both Hibernians and Birkirkara will be going out for victory for different reasons.

Having lost their unbeaten record after a 3-1 loss to Balzan, Hibs will want to get back to winning ways.

For Birkirkara, this match is even more delicate as a 2-1 defeat to Valletta has not only hampered their hopes of finishing in the runners-up spot but also put them in danger of being leapfrogged by Balzan who are three points adrift.

Branko Nisevic, the Hibs coach, has to make at least one change as keeper Henry Bonello must serve a ban.

Birkirkara striker Shola Haruna is out with a knee problem but otherwise Paul Zammit has a full squad.

Previous results: Hibernians vs Birkirkara 1-0, 1-1.
