BUSUTTIL. On April 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMENA of Luqa, aged 87, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her sons Silvio and his wife Rita, John and his wife Liliana, and Paul and his wife Maria, her grandchildren Mark and his wife Roberta, David, Nicolette, Matthew, Joseph Andrew, Christine and her husband Christian, her sister Josephine Vella, residing in UK, her in-laws Veri and her husband Ċensu, Paula, widow of her brother Pawlu, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.30pm for St Andrew’s parish church, Luqa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at St Andrew’s Cemetery, Luqa. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

XERRI. On April 27, at Gozo General Hospital, MARIJA of Victoria, Gozo, widow of Ġanni, aged 100, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Joseph A., former Assistant Director of Education, and his wife Marlene, Anthony and his wife Mary, Michael and his wife Evangelista, Carmel and his wife Saverina, George and his wife Maria, and Loreto, her daughter Dolores and her husband Kevin Kay, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Ġolina, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital today at 4.30pm for St George Basilica, Victoria, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 5pm, followed by interment at St Mary Cemetery, Victoria. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

XUEREB. On April 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANK of Sliema, aged 68, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maureen, his daughter Mandy, his brothers Mario and Joe, residing in Australia, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, May 2 at 9am for Sacro Cour parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Requiem Mass

A Mass in memory and for the repose of the soul of JOSEPH M. DEMAJO, who sadly passed away on April 26, 2011, will be said today at 6pm at the Ursuline chapel, Karm Galea Street, Sliema. The attendance of family and friends will be much appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
