Paul Pace, former president of the MUMN nurses' union, has been appointed adviser on nursing deployment for the Ministry of Health.

In an announcement, the ministry said Mr Pace had vast experience in the nursing sector, locally and abroad.

In view of recently announced projects, the country in the near future was expected to see major recruitment of nurses and other healthcare professionals, and Mr Pace would advise on the engagement of nurses, the ministry said.
