Can the relevant Transport Malta directorate inspect the poor and dangerous road surface in Qawra located between the casino and the aquarium?

Beside the fact that this road seriously needs some traffic calming management, it has also become dangerous to cross, especially at night.

Part of this road surface was left with only the base coat some years ago, since the top coat was never applied, as can be confirmed by the level of the curb stones.

I am also fully aware that the local council has been unsuccessful in soliciting assistance from the central government to resurface this part of the road, as it is not financially in a position to do this work itself.

The zebra crossing near the aquarium is dangerous to cross on as the surface is in such a poor state.

I am sure that we all appreciate that this is the heart of the touristic Qawra promenade which is also heavily used by locals: it should be the showcase for the area.
