Low-fare airline Norwegian is to start flying from Gatwick airport to the Caribbean.

The carrier will begin twice-a-week services from the British airport to San Juan in Puerto Rico in November 2015, with the introductory fare being £269 one way.

Norwegian will also start flying from Gatwick to Pula in Croatia, with weekly services beginning on May 24.

The Scandinavian airline already operates long-haul flights from Gatwick to New York, and Los Angeles as well as to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale in Florida.

From November, it will offer daily flights to New York and three times a week to LA.
