ATTARD. On April 23, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, ANGELA, of Santa Luċija, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Donald and his wife Grace of Canada, Patrick and his wife Monica of Australia, Isabel, Jennifer, wife of Martin Gauci, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her sister Stella wife of Mario Azzopardi. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence today at 8am for Sta Luċija parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff at St Joseph Ward 7 for their care and dedication. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
BRINCAT. On April 24, ANNUNZIATA, aged 84, of Balzan, at her residence, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters, Sr Maria Brincat, Joseph, Arsenio and his wife Agnes, her nephews John, Silvio and his wife Edwina and their children Clarisa and Julian, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves her residence today at 2.45pm for Balzan parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the Balzan cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group, Rainbow Ward, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GATT (Glenday). On April 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY, aged 71, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Maria wife of Tony Borg, his nieces Annaliza, wife of Peter Delia, and their children Ryan and Nicholas, Petra, wife of Peter Ellul Vincenti, and their children Christian, Amy, Emma and her husband Ben Aquilina and their son Jack. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30am for Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment in the family grave. Jesus, Mary, Joseph may he rest in peace.
GIALANZÉ. On April 23, EMMANUEL (Ex-CPO-Royal Navy), aged 89, husband of the late Teresa, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Pauline and her husband Victor Lanzon, Lilian and her husband Anthony Xuereb, Louis and his wife Pauline and Marvic and her husband Natalino Attard, his beloved grandchildren Gertrude, Alexander, Nadia, Jean Pierre, Matthew, Andre, Sarah and Martha, his five great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 2pm at Santa Maria Addolorata chapel (back gate entrance), followed by interment in the family grave also at Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, in his memory will be greatly appreciated. May he rest in peace.
