It would be very much appreciated if Mepa told us now, before the summer season starts in earnest, when they are going to close St Thomas Bay to the public in order to accommodate heavy industry.

Obviously, everybody who goes to St Thomas Bay knows that I am referring to the fish farm’s building of cages that has taken place over the past three to four months. At first they took over a small part of the forefront, now they have grabbed nearly three quarters of the place; soon, as usual in Malta, they will take over the whole beach.

Incidentally, have they got any encroachment permits? And what was the fee to be paid?

Please, please, we do not want to be told that this is confidential, commercial information.

And could Mepa let us know when this was discussed inpublic as I do not remember that anything was published.
