ASCIAK. On April 21, PAUL, aged 92, widower of Rina, née Ricci. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Beatrix, widow of Dr Louis Zammit, his children William, Ronald and Michael and their spouses Tania, Carmen and Vicky, his grandchildren Elaine and her husband Jonathan, Rachel and her husband Norbert, Claire and Simon, Simone and her husband Dominic, Yvette and her husband Joseph, Mark and his wife Perdie, his great-grandchildren Liam, Miguel, Jodie, Luke, Lara, Eliza and Julian, his brother Lee and his wife Doreen residing in Canada, nephew and nieces, Beatrix's children and their families, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, April 25, at 1.30pm for St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Valletta where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CAMILLERI. On April 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY MAGDALENE (Magda), aged 78, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her brothers Raphael and his wife Virginia (Gussie), Anthony and his wife Mary Hilda, her sister Marie Therese (Matty) Debono, her sister-in-law Lina widow of her brother John, and Major John Gilbert, widower of her sister Monica, her cousin Peter and his wife Barbara, numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Gregory parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, or Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group, Rainbow Ward, Mater Dei Hospital, will be appreciated. May she rest in the peace of the Risen Lord. The family thank the doctors and nurses of the Day Care Unit, Mater Dei for their untiring loving care of Magda throughout her stay there.
