Liquigas Malta said today it has filed an application before the Civil Court against Easygas Malta for painting in grey the green and yellow cylinders which belong to Liquigas.

In a statement Liquigas said the changing the cylinders’ colour to grey and their filling by third parties meant it could not assume responsibility of the cylinders as required by the Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED) for the safety of the consumer.

Liquigas called on the court to find Easygas responsible  for the damages.
