Sandra Bullock has been named the world's most beautiful woman by People magazine. The 50-year old, Oscar-winning actress made light of the matter, telling the magazine, "That's ridiculous."

In the article, due out tomorrow, Bullock said she found beauty in her role as a mother to her 5-year-old son and credited a healthy diet, green juice, and working out five times a week for her lasting looks.

Ben Affleck regrets asking a PBS documentary show profiling his ancestors to not include a relative who was an owner of slaves. Affleck's ancestry was traced for an episode of "Finding Your Roots" and he said he had "lobbied" on what elements of his family history to use in the show. On a statement on his Facebook page, Affleck said he had been embarrassed by the revelation.
