ASCIAK. On April 21, PAUL, aged 92, widower of Rina née Ricci. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Beatrix widow of Dr Louis Zammit, his children William, Ronald and Michael and their spouses Tania, Carmen and Vicky, his grandchildren Elaine and her husband Jonathan, Rachel and her husband Norbert, Claire and Simon, Simone and her husband Dominic, Yvette and her husband Joseph, Mark and his wife Perdie, his great-grandchildren Liam, Miguel, Jodie, Luke, Lara, Eliza and Julian, his brother Lee and his wife Doreen residing in Canada, nephew and nieces, Beatrix's children and their families, other relatives and numerous friends.
Funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday 25th April, at 1.30pm for St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Valletta where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Joseph Calleja Foundation, will be greatly appreciated.
CONSTANTINE. On April 13, JOAN, a long term resident of Sliema and wife of the late Jimmie, died suddenly, aged 98, at Casa Antonia, Balzan. She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her close friends and all who knew her. There will be no immediate funeral as Joan wished her remains to be available for medical research. It is expected to hold an appropriate memorial service at a future date and in the meantime donations in her memory may be made to the Anglican Chaplaincy in Malta and Gozo and sent to St Paul’s Anglican Pro-Cathedral, Independence Square, Valletta VLT1535.
DIMECH. On April 21, PETER PAUL, of Valletta, aged 65, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Anna, nèe Camilleri, his children Daniela and Manuel, Christian and Mariette, Julian and Denise and Jacob, his grandson Ben, his sister Mary Doris wife of Anthony R. Callus, his brothers Charles and his wife Carmen, and Martin and his wife Edel, his sister-in-law Carmen, widow of his brother Tony, brothers-in-law Louis Portelli, widower of the late Anna, and Noel Paris, widower of the late Elizabeth, his wife's siblings Tania and her husband Laurence Cacciattolo, Rosette and her husband Francis Meli, Mariella and her husband Mark Grech, and Manuel and his wife Nicky, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated on Saturday, April 25, at 8am at St Paul Shipwreck parish church, Valletta, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. May he rest in the eternal peace of the Risen Lord.
TABONE. On April 21, VINCENT (Ċensu), aged 66, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Sandra née De Maria, his loving children Vincent and Katia, Francesca and Michael Rizzo, Mikela and Eric Fenech Pace, his adored grandchildren, Nicola, Lisa, Alex, Anna, Pippa, Max, Sarah, Eric, Rebecca and Ceni, his dearest mother, Maria Tabone, wife of the late President Emeritus Dr Ċensu Tabone, his twin sister Monica and Peter Cauchi, his brothers and sisters Marilise and Joe Azzopardi, Colin and Helen, Helen and Philip Farrugia Randon, Patricia and Godwin Montanaro, Francis and Anne, Anna and Martin, his in-laws Claudia and Hu Taylor East, Michael and Joanna, Louise and Tony Rimoldi, Susan and Victor Vassallo, Rita and Simon Vella, his aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces, cousins, numerous friends, colleagues and travel trade partners of V. Tabone Travel. The funeral will be held at St Julian’s parish church tomorrow, Thursday, at 2pm followed by interment at the Santa Maria Cemetery in Gozo. Donations to the Capuchin Friary, Capuchins Street, Victoria, to assist in the commencement of the beatification process of Fra Baskal, Servant of God. Jesus, Mary, Joseph, may he rest in peace.
Requiem Mass
A Mass in memory and for the repose of the soul of Count PAUL EDGAR WILLIAM BERNARD, who sadly passed away on March 20, 2015, will be said tomorrow at 6.30pm at the Sanctuary of Our Lady, Mellieħa. The attendance of family and friends will be much appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
