It’s time the Sliema mayor starts walking through our streets like other mayors do in other localities and see for himself what needs to be done so that Sliema will look less shabby.

Cleanliness, pavements and roads should be given priority over everything else.

In certain streets it’s best to walk with one eye tightly shut, to avoid seeing the carelessness, and the other eye wide open so you will not fall on some broken down pavement which has been undone for ages.
