David and Brian Grima will be showcasing their work at the Chelsea Flower Show in London between May 19 and 23.

This world-renowned event, organised by the Royal Horticultural Society, is considered the gardening event of the year.

Mediterranean Ceramics is known for its outdoor living collection, which features chess and backgammon volcanic table tops and top counters with integrated barbecues.

“It is an honour to be asked to exhibit for the fourth time,” said the designers, who created the brand five years ago.

“We could never have foreseen this when we started working and managing manufacturing in earthenware 20 years ago.”

“We believe that our colourful items and the strong materials we use reflect our country’s easy-going yet sturdy character.”

To view some of the works, visit the company’s workshop at Ta’ Qali Crafts Village, its flagship store at the Valletta Waterfront or online at www.mediterraneanceramics.com.
