Romee Strijd and Juan Betancourt are the faces of the Stradivarius spring campaign, featuring a tale of romance that highlights love as one of the brand’s key values.

A series of images take viewers on a journey shared by a tender, loving couple with a strong emotional connection. In the campaign video, the voice-over narrates the sensations and emotions the tale evokes.

Bela Adler and Salvador Fresneda are back behind the camera, skilfully capturing the complicity between the two models.

This time the brand is offering more campaign content than ever on themagblog.com, Stradivarius’s digital magazine, including interviews with the campaign faces, as well as an insight into what went on backstage during the shooting of The Runaway.

Blue is set to become the hottest colour this spring and will be dancing its way around all the collections and materials. It will also be a common denominator for the entire collection and making its presence felt in all the brand’s key trends .

Denim is, naturally, top of the season’s must-have list and can be seen in all fits for all types of garments: bell bottoms, dungarees and skirts.

This season is all about three key looks: sailor, Morocco feelings and 70s mood.

Kicking off the season in traditional nautical style are stripes and gingham checks, which will dominate spring looks, teamed up with white and subtle touches of red. The collection will carry people straight to the ultra-chic French Riviera with a definite retro feel combined with a dash of sporty cool. Absolute must-haves are plimsolls and slippers in a wealth of colours and materials, especially metallised effects and jute.

The sights and sounds of Morocco, with its mosaic of colours, make themselves seen in casual looks made up of kaftans and flowing maxi-blouses accessorised with Palestinian scarves. Babouche-inspired slippers and jewelled or strappy sandals add the perfect finishing touch to this look.

Kimonos in lightweight mater-ials with full sleeves, most featuring prints and overflowing with exotic graphics, have made a grand entrance, ready to reign supreme throughout the season.

Blue is here too, boldly making its presence felt in tie-dye and paisley prints.

The 70s are back, slipping into boho maxi dresses, fabulous floral print jumpsuits with a forceful personality and hippy tunics and kaftans. Gauzy blouses and bootcut trousers are back with a vengeance, rocked with platform sandals in natural tones.

Dainty femininity can be seen and felt in these feminine and romantic-style garments that flit their way through a range of pastel and ecru tones.

Key items for this season include long, flowing trenches, maxi garments with slits, bell-bottomed trousers and kimonos. When it comes to materials and finishes, one finds lots of suede and fringing, especially on footwear and accessories.
