The eco school committee of Maria Regina College’s Naxxar primary organised a series of two-hour programmes of traditional games on three afternoons for all children at the school. The games included sack races, potato races, skipping rope races, relay races, dress-up races, laundry line races, water games, hoop races and three-legged races. The aim was to raise healthy lifestyle awareness and reward children who excelled in physical activities rather than in academic abilities.
