Obituary
CUTAJAR. On April 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, SAVIOUR (Sunny) of Qormi, aged 65, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Anna, his daughter Katia and her husband Glen, his son Nicholas, his grandson Giuseppe, his brothers and sisters, and their families, his sisters-in-law and their families, his father-in-law Philip Bezzina and his wife Tessie, many other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for St Venera parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. The family cannot receive visitors at home. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
FENECH. On April 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMENA of Naxxar, aged 73, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Dorothy, James, his wife Marvic, her grandchildren Katrina and Jake, her brother and sisters, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30pm for Our Lady of Victories parish church, Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at St George’s Cemetery, Naxxar. MEACHEN. On April 17, STELLA, née Axisa, of Santa Lucia, widow of Ronald, aged 89, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss, her beloved children Steve and Martin and their spouses, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sisters Mary and Iris, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 8.30am at Santa Lucia parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Down’s Syndrome Association will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
