CORDINA. On April 11, JOSEPH, of Paola, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Marianne, née Calleja, his daughter Lydia Caruana and her husband Robert, his son David and his wife Josianne, his grandchildren Deborah and her husband Brian, Jonathan and Rebecca, Shawn and Maria, Yanika and Daniel, his beloved great-grandson Daniel, his only living sister Maria and her husband Herbert, his brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, cousins and many friends. Mass præsente cadavere to celebrate his life will be said on Friday, April 17 at 8.30am at Christ the King parish church, Paola, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May he rest in the eternal peace of the Risen Lord.
DE TRAFFORD. On April 12, GERALD, aged 85, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Charlotte, his beloved daughter Aloisia and her partner Emilio Foxell, his beloved son Jasper and his wife Fleur, his grandchildren Raffaele, Giuliano, Cosmo and Monty, his brother Anthony and his wife Gabrielle, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Villa Bologna, Attard, on Friday, April 17 for St Dominic’s church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
PSAILA. On Wednesday, April 8, at RM Hospital Melbourne, Victoria, JOSEPH, aged 67, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his son Damian, his partner Josephine Parnis, his sisters Marylene and Gladys, his brothers Edward and Godfrey, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said tomorrow at 6.30pm at Fatima Sanctuary, Guardamangia. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
TANTI. On April 15, JOSEPHINE, aged 69, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her siblings Iris Wright, Doris wife of George Darmanin, John husband of Rose and Maria wife of Saviour Borg, her nephews and nieces Michelle Farrugia, Marlene Galea, John Darmanin, Michelle Warburton, Marie Elliott, Christopher Borg with whom she resided, Dr Ruth Scott, Carmen Tanti, Claudette Godano and their respective families, her great nephews and great nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, April 17 at 8.30am for St Julians parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but any donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, would be appreciated. She will forever remain in our hearts.
