Superyacht Baraka is being refitted at the Melita Shipyard floating dock facility in Grand Harbour.

This is the 58-metre yacht's first refit since it was launched five years ago. It is in Malta for three months for engineering, painting, mechanical upgrades, underwater works and class five-year survey.

Registered in Georgetown and based in Northern Italy, the superyacht was custom-built by Turkish Proteksan Turquoise. Italian studio Paskowski Design was responsible for its contemporary interior. It has six staterooms and is fitted out with modern, state-of-the-art equipment including an elevator, Jacuzzi, sauna and a fully equipped gym.

It has 10 multinational crew members, including a newly-recruited Maltese stewardess.
