• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo is organising a charity sale today from 7.30am to 1pm at the football ground next to the main car park in Victoria. The fee is €10 per car space payable on the day.
• Masses at Ta’ Pinu sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm, followed by the rosary and eucharistic benediction.
• Masses at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Ħamet, will be said today at 9.30am and at 7.30pm.
• Shaun the Sheep will be screened today at 6pm at Don Bosco oratory, Victoria. Unbroken will be screened on Saturday at 8.30pm.
• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening on Saturday at 8.30pm at Għasri parish church, followed by Mass at midnight.
• Some of the best works of former president of the Society for All Artists Michael Sanders, who died tragically in 2014, will be on display and for sale at Il-Ħaġar, St George Square, Victoria, as from Friday. Opening hours are daily from 9am to 5pm. Admission is free.
• Il-Fergha Ewkaristika (Għawdex) will hold an hour of adoration on Thursday from 9am to 10am at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria. The rosary will be recited at 8.45am. Everyone is invited.
• A discussion about how today’s generation looks at values, entitled ‘What will the future inherit from today’s woman?’, will be held at the Gozo Ministry, St Francis Square, Victoria, on Friday from 6 to 7.30pm. It is organised by the Catholic Action Movement in Gozo. All women are welcome to attend.
• Pierre Mejlak, author of Having Said Good Night, will host a talk on Tuesday at 7pm at the Exhibition Hall, St Francis Square, Victoria, organised by Gozo Live. Stories from the book will be read by Rob Ricards and Sue Scantlebury, and copies will be on sale at a discount. Entrance is free.
