PKF International issues Worldwide Tax Update

PKF has published the 2015 Worldwide Tax Update, which highlights notable tax changes and amendments around the world.

In the latest issue, PKF looks at the intellectual property ‘boxes’, which follow existing patent box regimes and provide preferential tax rates.

Permanent establishments (PEs) also feature in this update, considering changes, guidance with calculating PEs’ income, expenses and the creation of a service.

A topical subject currently is transfer pricing, especially with the additional information requirements proposed by the OECD in its Action Plan on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS).

Other issues handled in the publication include inheritance tax, withholding tax changes, changes in the thin capitalisation rules and commentary on the US Tax Increase Prevention Act (2014).
