The second edition of Duende, Lizzie Eldridge’s debut novel that focuses on a fictionalised and romantic account of civil war in Spain, is being launched at the National Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta on April 23.

Set in Spain 1900-1936, Duende follows the lives of an artist and philosopher in the years leading to the Spanish Civil War. Guest speakers during the event include Giuliana Fenech, Chris Gatt, Mario Gerada and Carmel Vassallo. The book launch is supported by Heritage Malta. Entrance is free but those who would like to attend are requested to join the event on Facebook.
