Remedy, the upstairs space at Coconut Grove, Paceville, is back with a series of live gigs.

The performance space, which is closely associated with metal and rock, has reopened for performances with a set of upgrades that include a new, live-band PA-System offered to bands free.

The first gig takes place on Saturday and features death metal band Martyrium, with DJ NME on the decks. Martyrium is made up of Vanja Obscure on vocals, Count Mortem and Sherath on guitars, Sir on bass and Úmarth on synths and programming.

The band’s track Temple Of The Unknown Knowledge was featured on the Valletta 2018 video, representing the Maltese metal scene in the European Capital of Culture promotional video.

The video featured the band performing at the Bibliotheca in Valletta.

A schedule of events is currently being compiled and bands are invited to get in touch.
