CASSAR. On April 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, née Borg, of Floriana, widow of Samuel, aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Frank and his wife Olwen, Anthony and his wife Doris, and Joe and his wife Sheila, her sister Tessie and her husband Emmanuel, Mary, widow of her brother John, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9.30am for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GHIRXI. On April 10, at Boffa Hospital, CARMELA, widow of Carmelo, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Anthony and his wife Mary, Mary and her husband Joe, Johnny and his wife Lina, Eddie and his wife Julie, nephews, nieces, her brothers, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday April 13 at 8am for Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at the Qrendi Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
