The Maltese dura is a structure built with rubble stones in round configuration and where the hunter sits and awaits turtle doves. (It is not as shown on photos in the media.).

It is unique and typically Maltese and not seen elsewhere. It reflects a local tradition. These duras are scattered in rural areas all over in Malta.

Where are Din L-Art Ħelwa, Flimkien Għal Ambjent Aħjar and their allies who profess to defend Maltese heritage?

Have they ever bothered to inspect a traditionally built mansab with precise specifications and measurements, comprising the traditional dura?

Or is it that rural life does not have enough glitter?
