For those of us who have had the privilege of knowing Marlene Randon, and God knows we are many, the news of her passing on to, albeit a better life, was very sad indeed.

Marlene, with a warm personality that made her so endearing, with a heart so big it could not be contained, so she gave a large part of it to all those who happened to walk the journey of life alongside her.

Marlene, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, cherished sister, aunt, teacher and friend, a tower of strength and empathy. We could not but love her.

Marlene, humble servant of the Risen Lord to whom she was so devoted and to whom she was committed by living the faith with selfless dedication that often went unsung.

Marlene, gone but never forgotten, leaving a void that will be hard to fill, if ever.

Goodbye, dear aunt, my life is richer for having known you and I shall sorely miss you.
