Children attending St Monica School in Mosta were introduced to a new concept – how to meditate on Jesus’s death and resurrection – in a special room set up for the purpose.

During a spiritual week, prior to Holy Week, children were led to enter into a special journey with Jesus by following the story of salvation and made to reflect on Jesus’s wish to keep his temple as a special place to pray in and not to do business.

The parable of the 10 virgins and the story of Mary Magdalene were the main topics discussed. Students took part in a Last Supper re-enactment and parents attended Mass on the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows.
