Chantelle Buttigieg graduated with distinction from the University of Newcastle with a Master of Arts in heritage studies.

The degree delved into major aspects of managing cultural sites, looking at good practices of visitor and community engagement in cultural/heritage venues and examined marketing and events management techniques.

Buttigieg also explored the theoretical and practical basis of learning and interpretation at cultural sites.

The degree was carried out following the award of a Master It! scholarship, part-financed by the EU.
