I refer to my letter ‘Still dangerous’ (The Sunday Times of Malta, March 22). Since then the massive hole on the pavement of Bastion Street, Senglea has been levelled with cement and is no longer dangerous.

I’d like to thank the council and whoever else was responsible for making this pavement safe again. I’d also like to thank The Sunday Times of Malta for publishing my letters which no doubt led to action being taken.
