Spring hunting, which has been with us for many centuries, will stop if the referendum is not approved.

Spring is closely associated with the killing of turtle doves and quail. However, hunters love the countryside and hunting can be described as an early outing in the countryside. So hunters can be regarded as true environmentalists.

Also, the spring hunting season for turtle doves and quail does not last for more than 20 days, so why do anti-spring hunting campaigners claim that they cannot enjoy the countryside?

Unfortunately, law abiding hunters are ignored and the focus is always on the minority of hunters who break the law. It is unfair that the majority of hunters, who always observe the law, will be penalised for life if the ‘No’ camp wins.

I appeal to all honest citizens to properly consider all the arguments we have before us in order to make an informed choice on the day of the referendum.
