The Maltese film Simshar will be screened at the Don Bosco oratory cinema, Victoria, from tomorrow to Friday and next Sunday at 8pm.

Key members of the cast and crew will be present during the screening on Tuesday, and there will be a question and answer session with the film-makers after the Friday screening.

The film, which is in Maltese and has English subtitles, was shot at 21 locations around the Maltese islands and is the first ever local feature film to be submitted to the Oscars.
