• The ninth edition of Gaulitana: A Festival of Music, a 28-event international festival, opens with a performance of the musical The Sound of Music on Saturday at 8pm at the Grand Hotel, Mġarr. Entrance is free but on a first-come, first-served basis. The festival’s highlight is a full-scale production of Verdi’s opera Rigoletto on May 22 at the Aurora Theatre, Victoria.
