A competition is being held for young people to come up with a green innovation solution to an environmental problem affecting Malta. Winners will be awarded an overseas trip related to environmental innovation and all finalists will be featured in a publication.

The competition, entitled ‘The Innovation Challenge: Go Green’ is a joint initiative between Aġenzija Żgħażagħ and the University of Malta’s Edward de Bono Institute for the Design and Development of Thinking in collaboration with Takeoff business incubator at the University.

A workshop is being held on Wednesday from 10am to 1pm at the business incubator to provide guidelines on how to identify relevant problems and solutions and help prospective participants prepare their submission for the competition.

People who would like to participate but do not yet have a clear idea in mind are encouraged to attend.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge and open to people aged between 17 and 30 interested in issues related to environmental sustainability. To attend e-mail leonie.baldacchino@um.edu.mt.
