Nicolette Bezzina, a final year student following a Bachelor in Science (Hons) degree in pharmaceutical technology was presented with the Aurobindo award for best BSc (Hons) pharmaceutical technology student during the annual pharmacy symposium.
Ms Bezzina presented her project on ‘Procurement of medicinal products in government health services’ during symposium at the University of Malta Valletta Campus.
Ms Bezzina is working on her project under the supervision of Lilian Wismayer. Jonathan Farrugia, on behalf of Aurobindo, presented Ms Bezzina with a certificate and a copy of the pharmaceutical reference book Remington: The Science and Practice of Pharmacy.
This award is one of the features covered through a formal agreement signed earlier this year between Aurobindo and the Department of Pharmacy.
