Over 50 delegates from Ford European markets gathered in Malta for their annual EDM general meeting. The meeting, held for European direct markets, was attended by top management from over 25 Ford Motor Company markets in Europe and took place at the Westin Dragonara Resort, St Julian’s.

Leading the Ford delegation was Peter Fleet, vice president, Sales for Ford of Europe, along with Kevin Griffin, regional director, European Sales Operations, and Viktor Molnar, director, Ford CEE Sales Operations.

Representatives for the local Ford distributor, GasanZammit Motors Ltd, also attended the conference. The main objectives of these meetings is to enable delegates to discuss performances and new products, exchange ideas and the general direction of the company and sales and marketing plans for the following year.

During his visit to Malta, Mr Fleet, together with GasanZammit Ltd chairman Joseph Gasan and GasanZammit director Joseph Zammit also met with Prime Minister Joseph Muscat to discuss the automotive industry at large.

Also in attendance were Ford regional director for European sales Kevin Griffin and GZ Ltd director Mark Gasan.
