A €3 million project for the regeneration of Antoine de Paul Square in Paola has been launched by Consumer Affairs Minister Helena Dalli.

The project emphasises the concept of public open spaces, clean air and a better environment.

Architect Christopher Mintoff said the project would be creating an urban garden with a substantial number of trees being planted all around the square.

Many relaxation areas would be created and the pedestrian zone would be doubled.
