CAMILLERI. On March 31, at Mater Dei Hospital, MICHAEL of St Venera, aged 49, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his mother Carmen, his daughters Krista and Rebekah, his brothers Mark and his wife Miriam and Simon and his wife Amata, his nephews and nieces Matthew, Denise, Danjela and her husband Andrea and William, fiancées and other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, April 6 at 8.15am for St Venera old parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at the Resurrection Cemetery, Qormi. No flowers by request but donations to Assocjazzjoni Voluntarji Lourdes, c/o 91A, Triq il-Parroċċa, Mellieħa MLH1063, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. VELLA. On March 31, at Mater Dei Hospital, Dr LOUIS VELLA, aged 69, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Marisa, his son Simon and his wife Graziella, his adorable grandchildren Gregory, Ana and Daniel. He is also mourned by his sisters Marie Therese, widow of Frank Fenech, Matilda and her husband Walter Simler, Josephine and her husband Sid Cass, his sister-in-law Maria, widow of his brother Fredrick, his in-laws Anna and her husband John Scicluna, together with their children Kris, Louie and his wife Marion, Vanna, widow of Michael Galea, her son Karl, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, April 7 at 1.45pm for San Ġwann parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
