Fast food cretins

These pictures showing dozens of fast food wrappers were taken outside the McDonalds outlet in Valletta on a Saturday night. If customers do not have basic decency to dump their waste in litter bins then the police or wardens should take action and impose fines on the spot.

Smoke on the highway

A tow truck that is regularly called out to assist drivers in distress needs assistance itself. It was seen spewing smoke while going downhill on Regional Road. What sort of smoke would it be spewing if it were going uphill? Do the authorities not monitor such vehicles regularly?

Disadvantages of monopoly

The fact that Melita has a monopoly over telecom services to patients at Mater Dei seems to be having a negative effect. No light

This roundabout situated in front of St Philip’s Hospital in Santa Venera has 12 fixed lights. However, none of them has worked in months. The area is extremely busy and is a hazard, especially at night. The council should take action immediately.
