One month ago, George Grech, my friend of 65 years’ standing, passed away.

Many of his friends paid tribute to his gentlemanly qualities.

He was proud of being an outstanding member of an association which he co-founded and contributed to.

For this, the founder president conferred on George the title of deputy president and permanent council member, enjoying full voting rights.

The title of deputy president and his right to vote were removed by some members who did not know better and by others who knew exactly what they were doing.

All sincere friends will continue to cherish this title for ever, notwithstanding. Honour to whom honour is due.
