BERNARD. Count PAUL EDGAR WILLIAM BERNARD, 5.5.1957-20.3.2015, passed peacefully away after a short illness, near Lisbon, Portugal, where he had lived and worked for many years as a translator, official guide, and European tour operator. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother Marc and his family, close family friends and ties in Portugal, the United Kingdom and Malta, and loyal friends worldwide who loved him dearly and for whom he was a source of joy and inspiration. He will be dearly missed and remembered with much affection. A memorial Mass for the repose of his soul will be held in Malta at a date to be announced. Lord grant him eternal rest.
CUTAJAR. On March 28, Sr AGATANGELA, of Senglea, Franciscan Sister of the Heart of Jesus, Msida convent, aged 91, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus, her brother Anthony, Marianne, widow of her brother Emanuel, her nephews and nieces, their respective spouses, their children, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 9am at St Francis church, Tal-Qroqq, Msida, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Lord grant her eternal rest.
D’AMBROGIO. On February 16, at St Vincent de Paul residence, MARIA DOLORES (Doris), née Mifsud, of Fgura, aged 77, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her immense and painful loss her beloved daughter Ilenia, her sister Josephine Mifsud and her niece Gina Borg, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral Mass will be held tomorrow at 3pm at St George’s parish church, Qormi. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors at home. The family would like to thank the staff at Roseville, her consultants, the medical team and the staff at Mater Dei Hospital for the continuous support, dedication and loving care shown to her during these last years. May she be granted eternal rest.

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Claudia, his children Lino and his wife Mariella, Frances, Rosario and his wife Mary and Censina and her husband Mario, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his brother and sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residential home tomorrow at 7.15am for St Paul’s Shipwreck parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. PEARSALL. On March 28, THERESA (Tessie), of Paola, aged 89, widow of Henry, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Mary and her husband Domenic Attard, James and his wife Tessie, Charles and his wife Marcelline, her beloved grandsons Adrian and his wife Christine, Karl and his wife Maria, Bertrand and his wife Julianne and Martin, her great-grandchildren Franky, Marley Stella, Sean Paul, Vivien and Emma Kate, her sisters Mary, Lora, Antoinette and Rose, their respective families, relatives in Australia and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.30pm for Tarxien cemetery (Ta’ l-Erwieħ) chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be held at 3pm, followed by interment in the cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares will be appreciated.
VITIELLO. On March 28, RAFFAELA, of Floriana, aged 94, passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Yvonne and Helen, nephews, nieces and their families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.30pm for the chapel at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave.
