The DS World Paris, a new showcase dedicated to the world of the Citroën DS, has welcomed Swarovski side by side the Divine DS, a concept car studded with the company’s famous crystals.

The new residency will also feature jewellery by Nathalie Colin, artistic director of the Swarovski brand, and the latest DS creations unveiled a few days ago at the Geneva Motor Show, including the 2015 Model DS 21 Pallas. The exhibition will close in May.

Unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, Divine DS concept car is a concentrate of the brand’s DNA and future. A styling manifesto designed and created in Paris, it combines refinement and technology, standing apart with its compact, powerful and elegant four-door body underscored by strong graphic signatures.

The all-new interior features bold shapes and styling. A resolutely technological object, Divine DS is equipped with laser headlights, facets on the rear window that open up to improve aerodynamics, an onboard camera for enhanced rear visibility and a cockpit with an array of digital features.

Divine DS also introduces the Hypertypage concept, reflected in the creation of three interchangeable interior design schemes, each with its own singular personality: Parisienne Chic, Mâle and Fatale Punk. The cabin is dominated by quilted black leather studded with crystals.

The new residency also included an exhibition of Swarovski’s spring-summer 2015 jewellery collection inspired by a dreamlike garden. “Nature has always held special importance for Swarovksi,” artistic director Nathalie Colin, said.
