Q: What legal rights do I have if I order a specific bouquet of flowers, pay for it and then it is not delivered when agreed? To make things worse, the day after the agreed delivery date, a different bouquet was delivered.

Instead of lilies I was sent red roses which, I’m sure, were leftovers from Valentine’s Day.

When I called to complain, I was told that I would be refunded the money I paid after the wrong flowers were collected. No one came to pick up the flowers. How can I claim my money back?

A: If you have proof of the type of flowers you ordered and also have the date when the flowers were meant to be delivered, then legally you are entitled to cancel the sales agreement and request a full refund of the money paid.
