On March 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALFRED of Valletta, residing at Vittoriosa (former advertising traveller, Allied Newspapers Limited), aged 75, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. MICALLEF. On March 25, at St Vincent de Paul residence, VICTOR, aged 92, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Milvia, his children Emy and his wife Josephine, Antoinette and her husband Frans Piccinino, Josephine and her husband David Calleja, Fr Vince, Dominican parish priest at Our Lady of Fatima, Guardamangia, Maria and her husband Alfred Mallia, Ray and his wife Marlene, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence on Saturday, March 28 at 7.30am for St Dominic’s parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. TABONE. On March 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, Canon FELIX TABONE of Qormi, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother Anthony and his sister Carmen, widow of Carmel Mangion, his nephews and nieces Marion and her husband Mario Spiteri Sacco, Margaret Delicata, George and his wife Julie Mangion, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, March 28 at 8.15am for St Francis Square, Qormi, from where the cortége proceeds to St George’s parish church, Qormi. A Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Resurrection Cemetery, Qormi. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved partner David Muscat, his brothers and sisters, Josephine, widow of Manuel Vella, Louis and his wife Elizabeth Tanti, Pompea, widow of Joe Cassar, Tonina and her husband Colin Elso, nephews and nieces, his partner’s family, relatives and friends.
