Nearly €5,000 worth of medicines were recalled in October and November last year because they were damaged or due to expire.

Health Minister Konrad Mizzi told Claudette Buttigieg (PN) in reply to a parliamentary question 54 types of medicine had been recalled during that period. This was 0.31 per cent of medicines distributed to the consumer in the Pharmacy of Your Choice scheme.
